These are the things that fall by the wayside when one is about to send in a novel:
1. Cleaning out the fridge. I’m not sure I want to know what lurks at the back.
2. Cleaning out the car. I’ve got more kids’ art projects in there than you can shake a popsicle stick at.
3. Filing, recycling, paperwork. Anything to do with paper.
4. Memberships / subscriptions. Anything you have to renew
It’s actually a fairly pleasant state of hecticness. The book is essentially done, but I’m still claiming benefits of creative frenzy.
